Our take on fun summer holiday activities with the family in Norwich
With the school summer holidays fast approaching and the weather so dry and hot, you may be looking for different ways in which to spend time with your family.
With our offices in the centre of Norwich we hope to be in the know of what’s going on in the local area and we’ve highlighted a few of the exciting activities which Norwich and the surrounding area has on offer over the next few weeks.
Norwich Band Stands
Free concerts will be held at various parks across the city on Sunday afternoons from 3pm up until Sunday 28 August. The parks include Eaton Park, Waterloo Park, Mousehold Heath and Chapelfield Gardens. A great excuse to head out and enjoy our local parks with added joy of hearing local musicians. Children’s Theatre
The Jenny Lind Park and Waterloo Park will be hosting free children’s theatre productions every Friday over the school summer holidays. Productions include Robin Hood, Tales of Shakespeare, Alice in Wonderland and Three Billy Goats Gruff. More information here.

Norwich Duck Race
The annual Norwich Duck Race will be taking place on Sunday 28 August from St George’s Bridge to St Fye’s Bridge from 12pm. 3,000 ducks will be taking to the water to raise money for Break. Why not sponsor a duck or head to the river to watch the race take place! More information here.
