Leathes Prior welcomes four new Trainee Solicitors to the firm
Leathes Prior has recently welcomed four new members of staff with the recruitment of Trainee Solicitors Chris Goodwin, Patrick Gibney, Kelly Stannard and Jack Horwitz.
Chris graduated from the University of East Anglia (UEA) in 2015 with a first class law degree before completing his Legal Practice Course (LPC) with distinction at BPP Cambridge. Chris joins the Corporate and Commercial Team, working alongside Partners Paul Warman and Richard Guthrie. He is a keen Norwich City fan, plays badminton and has recently taken up golf.
Pat graduated from the UEA in 2014 with a law degree before completing his LPC at BPP in Cambridge. Pat then worked as a Litigation Assistant for a firm in Cambridge, dealing with clinical negligence cases. Pat joins Leathes Prior as a trainee within the Residential Conveyancing Team, working alongside Associate Jill Wheeler. His interests include reading, attending concerts and closely following his two football teams – Celtic and Manchester City.
Kelly completed her GDL at the UEA and LPC at BPP University, passing both with distinctions. During her time at the University of Warwick, Kelly volunteered at St Oswald’s Advice Centre predominantly advising on welfare and housing matters. Kelly joins the Regulatory & Defence Team, working alongside Partner, Tim Cary. Outside of work, Kelly has a passion for history and enjoys baking and visiting art galleries and museums.
Jack completed his GDL in 2015 at the UEA and graduated with a distinction. He then went on to complete his LPC at Nottingham Trent University, graduating in 2016 with a distinction. Jack will join the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team, working alongside Partner Mike Barlow. His interests include football, tennis and competing in sailing regattas.
