Leathes Prior congratulates James Walker as he qualifies into the firm’s Wills, Trusts and Probate Team
Leathes Prior is delighted to announce that James Walker has been admitted to the roll of solicitors and has accepted the offer to stay at the firm post-qualification in our Wills, Trusts, and Probate Team.
James began his Training Contract with the firm in September 2020, having previously graduated from Cambridge in 2017 and then completing his LPC. Having undertaken seats in our Litigation, Employment, and Wills, Trusts and Probate teams, James found a natural aptitude for the latter, which is where he will now qualify and begin the next stage of his career.
Offering advice on a range of private client matters including wills, trusts, estate planning and lasting powers of attorney, James joins a well-established team to continue working with its many long-standing clients. Outside of the office James continues to enjoy playing in a local volleyball team and cycling, recently completing a 50-mile bike ride as part of the Leathes Prior Tour de Broads team raising funds for Nelson’s Journey.
Training Principal, Sarah Appleton said, “I am delighted that James has accepted our offer to qualify with us this year. From the outset of his Training Contract, James’ formidable intellect and keen eye for detail have made him stand out as an exceptional trainee, and I have no doubt that those qualities, coupled with his affable nature, will make him a wonderful addition to the team and the firm.”
We are excited to welcome James as a qualified solicitor to the team and wish him the very best of luck for his future here at Leathes Prior.
