All four Trainee Solicitors retained to qualify into a range of teams at Leathes Prior in September
Leathes Prior is delighted all four of its 2016 intake of Trainee Solicitors qualifying this September have accepted offers to stay on at the firm post-qualification.
Chris Goodwin graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2015 before completing his Legal Practice Course (LPC) in Cambridge. Chris will qualify into the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team.
Kelly Stannard graduated from the University of Warwick in 2014 with a degree in Ancient History before completing her Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) at the University of East Anglia and then her LPC in Cambridge. Kelly will also qualify into our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team.
Patrick Gibney graduated from the University of East Anglia with a law degree in 2014 before also completing his LPC in Cambridge. Pat will qualify into our Wills, Estates & Powers of Attorney Team.
Jack Horwitz graduated from Loughborough University with an Economics degree in 2014 before going on to complete the GDL at the University of East Anglia and the LPC at Nottingham Law School. Jack will qualify into our Corporate & Commercial Team.
Leathes Prior’s Training Principal, Dan Chapman, said: “Being in the position to retain all four of our trainees from this year’s intake is a real thrill. We are going through a period of growth and therefore having outstanding candidates coming through our training programme to bolster our teams is essential. Nationally across law firms, the retention rate of trainee solicitors upon qualification is in the region of 80% but we are often well above that and this year is no exception. We wish Chris, Kelly, Pat and Jack all the best in their careers as Solicitors at Leathes Prior and very much look forward to working with them for many years to come.”
